According to Garcia y Garcia, the remains were found around 1960. In via A. Diaz in the proprietà De Gaetano, which brought to light several dolia with the stamp of the Quintii.
The excavation was controlled by Carlo Giordano but the related excavations that brought to light the dolia are not documented or published.
